As of October 1, it looks like Sebastien's attempt on Cho Oyu is over.  Not sure how high he got above C2 and whether his attempt had been planned without supplemental O's. 
Oh well, diabetics don't always have good weather in the big hills......

Hey there.
Looks like adventure continues to follow Sebastien Sasseville who is currently in the process of reaching the top of Cho Oyu, the world's sixth highest and likely easiest 8000-er.  If he does reach the top, he'll be at least the second type 1 diabetic after Marco Peruffo reached its top in 2002.  Not certain whether Sebastien is eschewing the use of supplemental O's.  Guess we shall see......
