Interesting article, in that it suggests there remains a body of medical opinion that would advise Type 1s against vigorous exercise. And shocking that as recently as 24 years ago Phil Southerland's mother should have been advised that “If your son lives to 25, he’ll most likely have renal failure or blindness” when at that time Bob Cleveland had already been living with the condition for 58 years (now 82 years - see article at diabeteshealth.com).
