Your Insulin Pump Proposals: What You Want the Manufacturers to Change

Over at Diabetes Health, they've run a survey to gather views on what needs to be improved in insulin pump design. I don't know whether any readers of this site took part, but I was wondering whether there are any changes that would make life better in the mountains. How about a remote control pad with extra large glove-proof buttons? Any other ideas?

Team Type 1 Wins Race Across America

The 3000 mile Race Across America (RAAM) has been won for the second year running by a team of Type 1 diabetic cyclists. Averaging over 22 mph, the 8-person team completed the gruelling event in 5 days 15:43. Team Type 1 (TT1) was founded in 2004 and aims to raise money for a type 1 cure, and "to inspire people to exercise daily and eat a balanced diet and take care of their health - whether living with diabetes or not."
